RECREATE successfully participated in JEC World 2026, held in Paris from 10–12 March 2026, where the project’s partners presented key achievements, technologies, and demonstrators to a global audience of composites experts.
Our stand attracted strong interest throughout the three-day event. Visitors had the opportunity to explore the project’s latest developments and engage directly with partners working on circular solutions for fibre-reinforced composites. Additionally, the demonstrators showcased solutions ranging from innovative design strategies to advanced recycling and reshaping technologies.
Strong Presence in the Programme
In addition to the exhibition, RECREATE contributed to the official programme with two presentations in the Research & Innovation Village, highlighting the project’s cutting-edge approaches to composite circularity.
On Day 1, the session on circular design and mild solvolysis introduced innovative methods for recovering high-value materials from end-of-life composites, particularly in automotive applications. This session was delivered by Gianmarco Griffini (Politecnico di Milano) and Stefan Caba (EDAG Engineering GmbH).
On Day 3, the focus shifted to disassembly technologies, industrial demonstrators, and reshaping techniques, showcasing how RECREATE solutions are being validated and scaled for real-world applications. This session featured contributions from Gianmarco Griffini (Politecnico di Milano), Laurent Berthe (CNRS/PIMM), Herfried Lammer (HEAD Sports), and Mohhamad Jawad Berro (ICAM).
These sessions brought together experts from leading institutions and industry, demonstrating the project’s collaborative strength and its role in advancing sustainable composite value chains in Europe.
Join Us at the Final RECREATE Conference
Building on this momentum, RECREATE invites stakeholders to its final conference, taking place on 23 April 2026 in Brussels, with the possibility to join online.
This event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, investors, and innovators to discuss how Europe can accelerate the circular transition of fibre-reinforced composites and reinforce the competitiveness of EU value chains.
